The Teaching Learning Center (TLC) successfully conducted a vibrant 05-Day Training Program on Teaching Learning Methods for Newly Joined Faculty members between 08th to 12th June  2026. The program received an enthusiastic response, with 43 faculty members actively participating in a series of dynamic and highly engaging sessions.

The primary objective of this five-day faculty training program is to enhance participants’ understanding and application of modern teaching-learning methodologies. The program is designed to equip educators with the skills and knowledge required to effectively engage students, foster learning, and ensure educational outcomes are achieved.

 

 

Key focus areas include:

  • Student-Centered Education: Promoting learner autonomy and active participation in the educational process to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Active Learning Strategies: Introducing interactive techniques that encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and practical problem-solving.
  • Technology-Enabled Learning: Utilising digital tools and platforms to enhance accessibility, interactivity, and the overall learning experience.
  • Assessment and Grading: Ensuring transparent, fair, and consistent evaluation processes that align with OBE principles.
  • Rigour and Accountability: Emphasising high academic standards and fostering responsibility among both educators and learners.

By the end of the program, faculty members were well prepared to implement innovative, outcome-oriented teaching methodologies that create unique learning experiences.
