The Department of Health Engineering at SRM University-AP is dedicated to developing innovative and sustainable solutions for current and future healthcare challenges. Our B.Tech in Health Engineering program integrates Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, and Medical Sciences to create next-generation healthcare technologies.
This is one of the few unique programs in India that is being established with strong support from the medical technology industry and healthcare institutions. Our curriculum is developed in consultation with industry experts, clinicians, academicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure students gain relevant industry exposure and become career-ready professionals. Students gain hands-on experience through research projects, internships, industry collaborations, and clinical exposure, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to healthcare innovation and patient care.

(BRAIN) Lab

BRAIN Lab is established with the aim of advancing research and biomedical data analytics, AI-assisted diagnosis, disease modelling, public health informatics, and computational biology.

Programmes Offered

We offer a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs designed to meet the diverse needs of students. From Bachelor’s to Ph.D. degrees, our courses are structured to provide a strong foundation or careers in which familiarity with biological topics is needed, including health care, industry, government, law, education, and more.

B.Sc. Integrative Biology (Hons.)

A programme offers comprehensive coverage of all major contemporary subjects in Biology to build the perfect foundation in basic science for graduates to pursue higher academic interests.

MSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology

A programme offers comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of molecular and cellular processes, with an emphasis on practical applications and industry-oriented careers.

PhD in Biology
