SRM University-AP, Amaravati, celebrated Founder’s Day with a series of meaningful initiatives to support and empower government school students on August 24, 2026. The celebrations commemorated the 88th birth anniversary of the University’s Founder Chancellor, Dr T R Paarivendhar. As part of the celebrations, educational kits were distributed free of cost to 1,673 Class 10 students from 25 government Zilla Parishad and municipal schools in the Mangalagiri constituency.
The initiative was organised to support students in their academic journey and encourage them to pursue their educational aspirations with confidence. The distribution programme commenced in the morning at the SRM University-AP campus in the presence of Prof. Ch Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor, and Dr Vinayak Kalluri, Registrar, among other University leadership.
The educational kits, comprising essential learning materials and other academic resources, were distributed to help students prepare effectively for their Class 10 examinations. Transportation for the kits was facilitated by the University’s NSS team, ensuring their smooth participation in the programme.
The initiative reflects the University’s commitment to extending its educational resources and support beyond the campus and contributing meaningfully to the development of the surrounding community.
The programme also highlighted the University’s continued engagement with government schools in and around the region. Through such initiatives, SRM University-AP seeks to encourage students, strengthen their access to educational resources, and inspire them to pursue higher education and future career opportunities.
The Founder’s Day celebrations served as a reflection of the institution’s commitment to carrying forward the vision of its Founder through initiatives that combine education, social responsibility, and community engagement.
