Demonstrating exceptional innovation and technical excellence, Hemanth Krishna Vardhan Pagadala, 3rd Year, B.Tech student from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SRM University-AP, Amaravati has been conferred the Indian World Record in the category of Innovation and Rapid Product Development.
The prestigious recognition was presented by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, in recognition of Hemanth’s remarkable achievement in developing a fully functional, market-ready mobile application in just 10 hours during a national hackathon.
Competing against more than 350 teams and over 800 participants, Hemanth stood out as the only solo participant in the competition. His application was successfully built to a production-ready level within the stipulated timeframe, earning him the Young Coder Award and recognition from the jury as a Rapid Prototyper. The achievement has been officially recognised and published by the Indian Book of Records.
This milestone reflects the culture of innovation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship nurtured at SRM University-AP.
