Prof. Anil K SureshProf. Anil Kumar Suresh, Professor & Head of the Department of Biological Sciences, SRM University–AP, Amaravati, has been admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (FRSB), United Kingdom, following a resolution of the Society’s Council. This recognises his significant contributions and professional engagement in the biological sciences and marks an important milestone in his academic career.

The Royal Society of Biology (RSB) is the UK’s leading professional body representing the biological sciences. It brings together individuals, organisations, and institutions working across the breadth of biology, supporting excellence in biological research, education, and professional practice. Fellowship of the Society recognises established professionals who have demonstrated expertise, achievement, and sustained engagement in the biological sciences.

As a Fellow of the RSB, Dr Suresh is entitled to use the postnominal letters “FRSB”, signifying his professional standing as a biologist and his recognition within the wider biological sciences community.

Speaking about the recognition, Dr Suresh expressed his gratitude to the SRM AP President,  University leadership, colleagues, PhD scholars, students, collaborators, and mentors for their continued support and contribution to his academic and research journey. He also acknowledged SRM University–AP for providing an environment that encourages research, innovation, academic excellence, and interdisciplinary scientific engagement.
