AI Technology Institute (AiTI)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming every industry and sector worldwide from Agriculture and Healthcare to Finance, Governance, Cybersecurity, and beyond. Integration of AI creates Smart Agriculture, Smart Healthcare, Smart Finance, and Smart Cities that improves quality of life at a large scale. According to the World Economic Forum, AI and automation are expected to generate 170 million new jobs globally by 2030, creating unprecedented demand for skilled AI professionals.

Motivated by this global imperative, SRM University – AP has established the AI Technology Institute (AiTI), a dedicated institution committed to research, education, and entrepreneurship in AI. AiTI aims to position SRM University- AP as a nationally and globally recognized AI-Native University, preparing the next generation of AI innovators, researchers, and leaders.

Located in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh one of India’s emerging knowledge and innovation hubs, AiTI is uniquely positioned to contribute to the region’s transformation through AI-driven solutions for agriculture, healthcare, energy, governance, public systems, urban planning, and digital infrastructure. The institute aims to play a catalytic role in building SRM-AP into a global hub for AI research, innovation, and technology-led development.
