Experience

  • March 2021 to March 2022 - Research Associate I - UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai
  • April 2022 to January 2024 - Postdoctoral Fellow - NISER Bhubaneswar
  • January 2024 to January 2026 - Postdoctoral Fellow - Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI)

Research Interest

  • My primary research interest lies in Combinatorial Commutative Algebra, with a focus on understanding the algebraic, combinatorial, and homological properties of monomial ideals arising from graphs and permutations. In particular, I study important classes of ideals such as edge ideals, skeleton ideals, connected ideals, and closed neighbourhood ideals, exploring how their algebraic structures reflect and interact with the underlying combinatorial data. This line of research naturally connects to broader themes in algebraic combinatorics and homological algebra.
  • My research aim is to build strong connections between algebra, combinatorics, and topology, and I am interested in continuing projects that explore these interactions in depth.

Awards

  • 2015 – CSIR/UGC NET(JRF) – Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR)
  • INSPIRE ‘SHE’ fellowship in 2010 − 2015
