In this paper, the data security operation is performed in case of inter-cluster communication. It is based on token identification of the clusters for their identification. The sender cluster checks the identification of the receiver cluster before any comm3unication is initiated. Each cluster is represented by its head node. The head nodes are assigned with a token by the base station. The token number is called as the identification number (IN) of the head node and hence the cluster. The proposed idea is simulated using NS3 simulator and the performance with respect to security. The performance is compared with other algorithms.
