SRM University–AP, Amaravati, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shinhyup Syrma Circuits Pvt. Ltd. (SSC), a leading electronics manufacturing company, on July 28, 2026, marking a significant step towards strengthening industry-academia collaboration in India’s rapidly evolving electronics manufacturing landscape.
This partnership supports the upcoming state-of-the-art PCB manufacturing and R&D facility by Shinhyup Syrma Circuits in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh, a landmark initiative expected to create direct employment opportunities.
Through this collaboration, SRM University-AP will empower students with industry-aligned learning, advanced research opportunities, and future-ready skills in PCB manufacturing, driving innovation and developing the next generation of engineering talent.
The MoU was formally signed by Shri T Rajesh Chari, Lead Operating Director, Shinhyup Syrma Circuits Pvt. Ltd., and Dr Vinayak Kalluri, Registrar, SRM University–AP, Amaravati. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Ch Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor, SRM University–AP; Dr Vinayak Kalluri, Registrar; Prof. C V Tomy, Dean, School of Engineering and Sciences (SEAS); Dr M S Vivekanandan, Director, Directorate of Corporate Relations and Career Services (CR&CS); Ms Mahalakshmi Bugatha, Assistant General Manager – People Organization, Shinhyup Syrma Circuits Pvt. Ltd.; Mr Ambedkar M, Founder & Principal Advisor, Ereach Business Advisory, the company’s consultant partner; along with faculty members from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and the CR&CS team from SRM University–AP.
Their participation reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to nurturing future-ready talent and fostering innovation-driven collaboration.
As a preferred industry partner, SSC will collaborate with the University to provide students with experiential learning opportunities through internships, industry projects, technical training, guest lectures, industrial visits, and placement support. The collaboration will also promote faculty engagement through joint research, curriculum enhancement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives aligned with current industry requirements.
The partnership further aims to establish a vibrant ecosystem for innovation by encouraging collaborative research and development, technology transfer, skill development programmes, workshops, seminars, and other academic–industry initiatives. By combining SRM University–AP‘s academic excellence with SSC’s industry expertise, the collaboration will enable students to gain practical exposure, develop industry-relevant competencies, and contribute to solving real-world engineering and manufacturing challenges.
