The Alumni Association of SRM University-AP, Amaravati successfully conducted a Charity & Medical Outreach Program on March 15, 2026 at Y.G. Pakala Village, a tribal region in Chinturu Mandal. Led by the Directorate of Alumni Relations, the initiative brought together alumni, faculty, and volunteers to extend support where it was needed most.
Through the distribution of essential supplies such as clothing, groceries, and educational materials, alongside basic healthcare services, the programme addressed immediate community needs while fostering awareness around hygiene and well-being. The active participation of Dr Satish Anamalamudi, Assistant Director-Alumni Relations along with our alumni and student volunteers reinforced a culture of empathy, service, and social responsibility.
The outreach positively impacted numerous families and children, encouraging learning and strengthening community bonds. Beyond material support, the event created a space for connection—bridging institutional values with grassroots realities.
This initiative stands as a testament to the power of collective action and the enduring commitment of the university’s alumni network towards inclusive and sustainable community development.
