
SRM University-AP inaugurated the four-day national techno-cultural fest in the august presence of Chief Guest Mr Vijay Thirumala, Vice President of Swiss Re, Vice Chancellor Prof. Ch Satish Kumar, Registrar Dr R Premkumar, Director-Student Affairs Major General Gurdeep Singh Narang, Associate Director-Student Affairs Ms Revathi Balakrishnan, the Student Council, faculty and students.
With over 6000+ participants, INFINITUS 2026 features cutting-edge technical competitions and brain-teasing challenges to vibrant cultural performances and high-energy showcases. An electrifying line of artists including Karthik, DJ Gautum, Jonita Gandhi and Ali Merchant will perform on campus as part of the live concerts.
Chief Guest Mr Vijay Thirumala, a business and strategy expert from Swiss Re, encouraged students to utilise university fests to build the ability to think strategically, adapt quickly, and collaborate effectively – qualities that define successful leaders and entrepreneurs.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Ch Satish Kumar stated, “A techno-cultural fest is a celebration of innovation and creativity. Such experiences are essential to holistic development and shaping future leaders who can contribute meaningfully to society.”
Major General Gurdeep Singh Narang emphasised that INFINITUS 2026 is a platform to lead, create, innovate, inspire and connect. He remarked, “At the techno-cultural fest, we encourage students to step beyond the classroom to explore their passions, challenge their limits, and celebrate diversity.”
The fest hosts 25+ cutting-edge technical competitions including hackathons, robotics, coding and VR challenges, drone simulators as well as specialised workshops and seminars. The 10+ non-technical events featuring photography competitions, fashion showcases, and cubing competitions provide a platform for participants to test their creativity, self-expression and strategic thinking skills.
INFINITUS 2026 will conclude with spectacular live concerts on February 28, 2026.
