Several cancelable biometric cryptosystems have been proposed to give security and protection to the biometric data. Even though these- techniques provide security from pre-image attacks and template protection. Developing innovative and highly robust cancelable biometric cryptosystems are vital. This paper proposes a novel cancelable biometric cryptosystem for template protection using color QR code. The proposed biometric cryptosystem is key generation based and registration free feature based multimodal biometric template of cancelable biometric method and works with conventional matcher. The proposed system has realized the properties of cancelable biometrics – revocability, diversity, non-invertible biometric encryption and pre-image attack resistant.
