A planar antenna integrated with bandpass filter (BPF) which operates over the ultra-wideband (UWB) frequency of 3.1 to 10.6 GHz is proposed in this research for wireless communication applications. The antenna is designed with slotted circular patch to cover the desired band and a filter is designed using distributed components to ease the integration and compactness utilizing a shunt stub resonator. The antenna and integrated BPF is made on FR4 substrate with relative permittivity of 4.4 and 1.6 mm thickness. An insertion loss less than 2 dB, Quality factor of 0.9133 and an efficiency of 80% is observed. A return loss less than 10 dB is realized over the entire band with the integrated BPF module.
