Elliptical holes of Photonic Crystal Fibers (PCFs) structure is filled with benzene and simulated. Results are compared with undoped silica PCFs by keeping the structure same. Doped fiber is found to be highly birefringent and reports negative dispersion. However silica fiber also reports very low dispersion and higher birefringence. Moreover both structure reports low loss. Small area of effective mode area makes them eligible for non linear applications.
