Abstract
Photonic Crystal Fibers PCFs structure with circular holes of different dimension have been studied. Structure ‘D’ with holes of diameter 1.4 have shown better result than the other structure simulated in this paper. Structure ‘C’ structure ‘D’ both have shown zero dispersion behavior at telecommunication wavelength of 1.55 μm. Splice loss reported by these two structures is also very low. Thus, confirms its efficient coupling with other optical components. Besides these parameters, confinement loss, nonlinearity, effective mode area and normalized frequency of the designed PCF structure have also been studied.
