Experience

  • Apr 2025 – Dec2025 - Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Qatar University, Qatar
  • Jan 2023 – Febr 2025 - Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Flexible Electronics and Neuromorphic Engineering (FENE) Group, Department of Electrical Engineering, Uppsala University, Sweden
  • Dec 2017 – June 2022 - Research Officer & Failure Analyst at Micro & Nanotechnology Group, UTM, Johor, Malaysia

Research Interest

  • My research interests include Electronic skin (e-skin), Flexible & wearable electronics, Soft Sensors, Energy harvesting devices, and Neuromorphic systems. My research focuses on the design and development of next-generation self-powered intelligent electronic systems through the integration of advanced functional materials, soft electronics, energy harvesting, and neuromorphic engineering. The main goal is to enable cutting-edge solutions for wearable healthcare, human–machine interfaces, and intelligent sensing applications.
  • Currently, I am working on the design and development of flexible and wearable thermoelectric devices, soft sensors and circuits. By integrating advanced functional thin films, nanomaterials, and nano-phase change materials, I aim to develop high-performance thermoelectric generators that efficiently convert human body heat into electrical energy, enabling self-powered wearable electronics and intelligent sensing systems.

Awards

  • Recipient of a Travel Grant from Myfab, Uppsala University, Sweden, to attend the Nordic Nanofab Meeting, organised by the University of Oslo and SINTEF, Oslo, Norway (June 2024)
  • International Doctoral Fellowship (IDF) awarded by the University of Technology Malaysia to support doctoral research (2018–2022)
  • Recipient of the GATE Fellowship for the M.Tech. program, Government of India (2014–2016)
  • Recipient of the Best Paper and Presentation Award at the International Conference on Electronics, Instrumentation and Devices (ICEID), Johor, Malaysia (2021)
