Experience

  • Assistant Professor, ESLA, SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh
  • Assistant Professor And Area Chair at the Cathy Caruth Department of English Studies, School of Liberal Arts and Humanities, Woxsen University, India

Research Interest

  • Her current research explores graphic narratives and visual culture as dynamic sites of political expression, trauma and counter-memory. Drawing on interdisciplinary frameworks, she examines how visual texts—ranging from graphic narratives to political cartoons —engage with questions of conflict, identity, trauma and resistance.
  • Her research on literary trauma engages with questions of multidirectional memory, silence, and the limits of (re)presentation, particularly within South Asian contexts of conflict, ecotrauma and historical rupture. She is also interested in the role of translation—both linguistic and cultural—as a mediating practice that negotiates the untranslatable dimensions of traumatic experience.

  • IAFOR Scholarship for research paper on socio-politics and graphic narratives at The European Conference on Arts and Humanities, London, UK
