A rectangular microstrip patch antenna with four half circular slots have been investigated. The geometry is considered such that all the four half circular slots are at the edges of rectangular patch. The investigated design has shown a good characteristics and was found to be applicable in UWB region. The VSWR value conforms its fabrication, and the simulated gain observed to be 4.987dB. Besides, the characteristics like radiation pattern, return loss were also studied.
