Abstract
D’ shaped PCF structure have been simulated using Finite Difference Time Domain FDTD. Both ‘D’ shaped PCF structure and inverted ‘D’ shaped PCF structure have been simulated in this paper. PCF structure with inverted ‘D’ shape and silica as wafer has shown much better result than the other structure simulated. Structure ‘C’ reports very large negative dispersion at very high birefringence. However other structure other than structure ‘B’ also have been reported negative dispersion structure ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘D’ also have reported high birefringence and low loss. Thus all these structures are capable enough to be widely applicable both in linear and non linear application.
