Abstract
This paper presents the design of a solar powered Wearable device that combines real-time health monitoring with GPS. tracking, and a dual-mode SOS alert system. The device continuous monitoring of vital parameters like heart rate, SpO2, blood pressure, body temperature and ECG using embedded biomedi-cal sensors. Data is displayed locally and transmitted via GSM to caregivers and emergency contacts. The SOS mechanism works manually by a dedicated button and automatically when Abnormal conditions are detected, with the GPS coordinates transmitted to predefined contacts for quick intervention. To enhance reliability, a univariate ensemble filter feature selection approach and a hybrid ensemble classifier combing Random Forest, The methods used in this experiment are based on ensemble learning: Gradient Boosting, and XGBoost. Experimental Evaluation reveals a 9 5 – 9 8% accuracy for heart rate and SpO2, with the ensemble achieving an AUC of 0.97. Integrated solar charging extends device autonomy by up to 30% under outdoor conditions. The proposed solution provides a reliable, Energy-efficient Platform for Continuous Health Monitoring and particularly, emergency response in resource-constrained settings.
