Since last few decades, a rapid change in the generation of electricity has been seen with the world shifting from nonrenewable sources of energy towards the renewable sources with solar as the major source of electricity. In order to increase the amount of generation and reliability, this work aims to design a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm and dual axis based Solar Photo voltaic array (SPVA) which has proved to be a better solution as compared to MPPT based SPVA. All the modeling and simulation has been done in MATLAB/ Simulink.
