Marking a proud achievement for SRM University-AP, Amaravati PhD scholar Ms Sowmya Kumar Shivanand Chandapur from the Department of Chemistry has been awarded a prestigious 6-month international internship at the International Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA), National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan.
Working under the guidance of Dr Barun Kumar Barman and internationally renowned scientist Tadaaki Nagao, in collaboration with Hokkaido University, her research will focus on Photonics and Nanoengineering. This opportunity not only reflects the global recognition of SRM’s research ecosystem but also highlights the university’s commitment to nurturing talent capable of contributing to cutting-edge scientific advancements on an international stage.
