Ms Syed Nousheen, a Ph.D. scholar from the Department of Physics at SRM University-AP, Amaravati has been honoured with the Best Poster Presentation Award at the prestigious International Conference on Advances in Nanoscale Materials and Devices (ICANMD-2026).

The conference was hosted by The LNM Institute of Information Technology from February 19–21, 2026 bringing together researchers, academicians, and industry experts from across the country to discuss emerging advancements in nanoscale materials and device technologies.

Ms Nousheen received the award for her research paper titled, “A Simple and Cost-Effective Thiophene-Benzene-Thiophene-Based Hole Transporting Material for Stable Perovskite Solar Cells.” The research focuses on developing an efficient and economical hole transporting material aimed at improving the stability and performance of perovskite solar cells, a promising next-generation renewable energy technology.

The award included a certificate of excellence and a cash prize of ₹5,000 in recognition of the quality and impact of her research presentation.

The achievement reflects the growing research excellence at SRM University-AP and highlights the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation and impactful scientific research in advanced materials and sustainable energy technologies.
