SRM University-AP, Amaravati continues to strengthen its research excellence with a significant grant under the ANRF-PMECRG scheme. Dr Barun Kumar Barman, Assistant Professor at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research (CIDR), has secured funding of ₹68 lakhs for his cutting-edge project titled “Near Infrared Spectral Barcode Engineering with Nanographene-Coupled Microphotonic Emitters.”

This project explores innovative approaches in nanophotonics, focusing on developing advanced spectral barcode systems using nanographene-integrated microphotonic emitters. The research is expected to contribute to breakthroughs in optical communication, sensing technologies, and next-generation photonic devices, positioning SRM University-AP at the forefront of emerging quantum and photonic research domains.
