Clubs Societies
Objectives of the Club
To create a collaborative and interdisciplinary community of space enthusiasts sharing their ideas, curiosity and creativity and to provide a platform for honing their analytical, problem-solving and research skills.
- Outcomes of the Club = Space-themed events (such as contests, workshops, lecture series, stargazing, astrophotography), OneSpace outreach program suggested by SEDS India (or educating about space to local school-students), Research Project, Composition of a monthly newsletter, Engagement through Blog and Social Media.
- Skills = Role-Specific, but mostly Soft skills like communication, originality, punctuality and an interest towards space and astronomy.
- Attitudinal = Team work, Collaboration, Curiosity and Dedication towards chosen role.
- Club functioning = Regular offline weekly meetings, Tentative online meetings, Divided into sub-teams such as Events team, Outreach team, Project Team, Newsletter Team, Social Media and Website team.
- Scope of Club activities = Inter and Intra University-level activities and research.
- SOP for conducting club activities = To provide a platform filled with opportunities to learn about space and display creativity, innovation and relevant skills for professional experience and growth.

- Co-convener = Rudra Pratap Udgata
- Executive Members = (Secretary, Treasurer, Social Media & Publicity Chair, Recruitment Chair, Website Chair, Content writers’ chair)
- Associate Members = Team and Role specific
making, creativity, originality, technical and scientific knowledge, skills and curiosity appreciated, punctuality and dedication required to carry forward SEDS SRMAP legacy even after graduation.
Membership withdrawal guidelines: Valid reasons include graduation or commitments like long-term internships, academic opportunities and inadequacy with attendance or irregular commitment.
Members Exit/Termination guidelines : Exit to be approved only after finding a replacement for the abandoned role by the individual.
