Synchronous phasor measurements are important parameter for wide-area monitoring and control applications. The main application of signal processing in the area of power systems is to determine the parameters to be measured and up to what level of accuracy. The purpose of this study is to compare various methods of Signal Processing for Phasor Measurement Unit through MATLAB and to find which signal processing methods provide the best characterization and analysis of the signals to be investigated.
