Research Interest

  • My research focuses on first principles computational materials science, particularly the electronic, optical, and interfacial properties of halide perovskites, functional semiconductors, and low dimensional heterostructures. I aim to understand how composition, structure, strain, and interfaces govern optoelectronic properties for photovoltaic, light emitting, and quantum device applications.
  • My second research interest is in physics informed AI and machine learning for materials discovery, integrating first principles simulations with physically meaningful descriptors to predict and inverse design functional materials. I aim to develop interpretable and transferable ML workflows for 2D perovskites and energy relevant materials, bridging computational screening with experimental validation.
