Abstract
Cellulose-based materials are sustainable and environmentally beneficial, and the circular economy is seeing tremendous growth in the worldwide market. The most prevalent biopolymer, cellulose, is generated from plants and agricultural waste. It decreases fossil fuel use and promotes sustainability as a renewable resource. Biodegradability is important because it decreases landfill garbage and simplifies composting and other organic recycling. Innovative uses of cellulose, such as biofuels, bioplastics, and insulation, demonstrate its versatility and green technology. Cellulose is crucial to the economy because it supports sustainable development by growing sustainable businesses, creating jobs, and investing in cellulose-based product processing and recycling technologies. This book chapter explores the state of the market today, emphasizing the main forces behind demand, prevailing patterns, and obstacles the sector faces. Cellulose-based materials have grown rapidly due to strict environmental restrictions and the growing demand for sustainable products. But, the sector also must contend with issues with consumer awareness, technology acceptance, and scalability. This thorough study offers stakeholders a complete understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the circular economy of cellulose-based materials by shedding light on market dynamics.
