SRM University-AP held its first-ever International Alumni Meet in Dallas, USA, on May 24, 2026, marking a historic milestone in the University’s global alumni engagement journey. Bringing together 107 alumni from across the United States, the event celebrated not only achievements and memories but also a shared commitment to strengthening the SRM community worldwide.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Satish Anamalamudi, Assistant Director – Alumni Relations, outlined the vision and objectives of the Alumni Meet and highlighted the growing initiatives of the Directorate of Alumni Relations. He emphasised the importance of alumni gatherings in reconnecting juniors and seniors, fostering mentorship opportunities, and building a strong network that benefits both alumni and students.
Mr Lakshmi Narasimhan, Director – International Relations & Higher Studies (IR&HS), encouraged alumni to visit the campus and reconnect with their alma mater, reinforcing the University’s commitment to maintaining meaningful relationships with its graduates across the globe.
In his inspiring address, Prof. Ch. Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor, spoke about the remarkable developments taking place at SRM University-AP, Amaravati, including advancements in infrastructure and the integration of cutting-edge technologies to enrich learning and research. He highlighted the University’s strong interest in engaging alumni as collaborative partners in its growth journey and encouraged them to remain connected with SRM University-AP, Amaravati for professional development, mentorship, and future collaborations. He also urged alumni to take ownership of the institution’s vision and serve as proud ambassadors of the University wherever they are in the world.
A special highlight of the evening was the recognition of 12 distinguished alumni for their outstanding professional accomplishments and excellence in their respective fields. Their success stories served as an inspiration to fellow graduates and current students alike.
