Representing SRM University-AP, Dr Jatindra Kumar Dash, Associate Dean-SEAS participated in the US–India TRUST Conference, a one-day conference held on January 29, 2026 organised by US Consulate General-Hyderabad in association with World Trade Centre, Shamshabad-Visakhapatnem. The conference featured Panel Discussion 3: “Models that Work: US–India Academic Partnerships in AI and Cybersecurity,” bringing together academic leaders and experts to share practical and scalable collaboration models.

Dr Jatindra highlighted effective US–India academic collaboration models focused on faculty exchange, training, and capacity building in AI and cybersecurity. He noted ongoing efforts at SRM AP to co-develop curricula with MIT, USA and Carnegie Mellon University (SCS-CMU), and the Semester Abroad Program with the University of California, Berkeley, aimed at strengthening institutional and human capital.

The panel underscored the growing role of US–India academic cooperation in advancing innovation, security, and capacity building in critical and emerging technologies. The US–India TRUST Conference continues to serve as a key platform for strengthening bilateral collaboration across academia, industry, and policy.
