Eligibility

Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and students in their final year may also apply.

Course Delivery

Courses will be delivered through online mode. Sessions will be held twice a week, generally on weekends. Participants can attend sessions directly from their desktop/laptop. Participants will be provided reading materials etc. for each course. They may also interact with the concerned faculty through e-mails/ chat mode.

The academic sessions will start from April 6, 2024. Sessions will be held every Saturday and Sunday.

The normal timing of the sessions will be as follows:

Saturday, First session: 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM

Sunday, Second session: 11:00 PM to 01:00 PM

Alumni Status

The participants who will complete the programme successfully will be eligible for the Executive Education Alumni status of SRM University-AP.

Dr Bharadhwaj Sivakumaran

Professor & Dean – Paari School of Business, SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh

Dr Bharadhwaj Sivakumaran is an academician of considerable repute and has 27 years of experience. He has a PhD in Marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA. He is now Dean of the Paari School of Business, SRM University-AP. Prior to this, he has worked in leading institutions in India and abroad like Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, IIT Madras and Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai where he as Director (Research), Head of the Department of Marketing and Bala V and Vasantha Balachandran Chair Professor of Marketing.

Dr Bharadhwaj is one of the leading researchers in Marketing in India and has won numerous awards and has published dozens of papers in leading journals worldwide. He is a reviewer for many top notch journals and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Business Research. He is also one of the few people from India to be appointed an assessor at the Australian Research Council, the pre-eminent body for research funding in Australia.

Dr Bharadhwaj is an outstanding teacher, he has taught at all levels: UG, PG and PhD and students absolutely love his classes. He has also trained executives at leading companies in India like Titan, city Union Bank, Saint Gobain, Lucas TVS, Royal Enfield and Ashok Leyland.

Mr. Laxminarayanan G

Laxminarayanan G is the Sr. Vice President and Global Delivery Head of Polestar Solutions. He is an experienced management consultant with extensive experience in providing AI, analytics and Digital Marketing consulting to many Fortune500 companies over the last 16 years. He has played leadership roles in various firms including Deloitte and PwC. He is a management graduate from IIM Lucknow and a post graduate diploma in AI-ML.

He is also a visiting faculty in IIM Kolkata, IIM Lucknow and IIM Amritsar engaged in teaching modern day tools and techniques for students. He has been associated with several top b schools in mentoring and teaching the students in AI and marketing domain. He is an avid speaker at different industry forums and a regular guide to several MSMEs through CII and NASSCOM.

Dr Jatindra Kumar Dash

Associate Professor, Associate Dean in-charge – (Engineering) SEAS, SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh

Dr Jatindra Kumar Dash is working as Associate Dean-Engineering at SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh, India. He also worked as a visiting researcher at University of California, Berkeley, USA in the year 2018. Dr Dash holds a PhD degree in Machine Learning from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India.

His research interests include Machine Learning, Data Science and Recommender system. He has more than 20 years of teaching, research, and consultancy experience.

Prof. Niraj Upadhayaya

Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh
Prof. Niraj Upadhayaya, is currently working as Head if the Department and Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department at SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh. He Did his BTech from M.M.M. Engineering College Gorakhpur in 1987 and M.S. from BITS Pilani in the year 2000. He joined Indian Broadcasting (E) Services in 1987 and served there for 15 years. Prof Niraj did his PhD in Computer Engineering from University of The West of England Bristol UK, in 2005. He worked at JBIET Hyderabad as HOD (CSE), Dean, Vice Principal and Principal during 2006 to 2023. His research areas are Cloud and Edge computing. Six PhD scholars have completed their doctoral thesis under his supervision. He is having 18 patents, 37 research publications, and 18 Conference Papers and He has received research grants under AICTE-RPS and DST-FIST from AICTE and DST.
Prof. Niraj Upadhayaya is a fellow of Professional bodies like IETE and IE. He is a member of ACM and IEEE. He won the best innovation award from Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in 1990. He was awarded the Best Teacher Award in Telangana and AP by ISTE in the year 2014.

Dr Shuvendu Rana

Assistant Professor, Computer Science and Engineering, SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh

Dr Shuvendu Rana received his PhD degree in 2017 and M. Tech degree in 2013 in Computer Science and Engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. He received his B-Tech degree in 2009 in Computer Science and Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology. He has worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He is a recipient of TCS scholarship and DST ITS travel grant in his Ph.D. tenure at IIT Guwahati.

Dr Shuvendu Rana is currently working as an Assistant professor in the department of CSE SRM University AP. His research interests include AI&ML based image and video processing, 3D image & video analysis, image & video watermarking, medical imaging, structure from motion, information hiding and multimedia security.

Dr Shuvendu Rana is a reviewer for many top-notch journals and conferences. He also serves on the editorial board of the Frontiers in Signal Processing and MDPI Electronics. Moreover, he is known as a specialized teacher in the field of Machine learning and Computer vision for UG PG and PhD students.

Dr Padma Narayanan

Associate Director with US based IT services organization

Dr Padma Narayanan is working as an Associate Director with US based IT services organization in the domain of analytics. With over 10 years of experience in the field of business technologies, she has completed her PhD from IIM Bangalore, and MBA from IIM Shillong. She has conducted training and mentoring sessions in the domain of AI and ML for various corporates and B School students.

She has been teaching courses and mentoring professionals on various analytics tools related to Data Science. She has also organized several Faculty development programs for management institutes.

Presently working as Associate Director Global Commercial Data Science & AI Engineering at AstraZeneca.

He has led and transformed bootstrapped startups like Ameex into a successful data science enterprise with solutions across data management, data visualisation and AI.

Mr Vivek Mani

Marketing Consultant

Vivek Mani is a Business Leader turned Marketing Consultant. He is an alumnus of IIT Madras and has rich, hands-on experience across the value chain and a proven track record in propelling business growth & profitability in his different roles. In his last assignment, he was the founding CEO of Heritage Novandie Foods Pvt Ltd.

He is based out of Mumbai and currently offers advisory services and consulting to start-ups in helping them with effective Go-to-Market strategies. As a visiting faculty, he teaches courses in Sales, Marketing and Strategy in B-Schools in Mumbai and Pune.
