Abstract
Ionic liquids have found a number of application in the development of numerous forms of multicomponent reactions that has been discussed in this chapter. The disclosed approaches stand out for their ease of use, quick reaction periods and excellence in yielding intended products, moderate reactive conditions, affordable cost, recyclability and availability of the used ionic liquids.
