Swarna Andhra Viksit Bharat Conference in Amaravati

SRM University-AP gears up to host Swarna Andhra Viksit Bharat Nation-wide conference. The one-day proposed national conference will witness the presence of Union Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.

A meeting, discussing the relevance of the conference amidst national schemes like Vikasith Bharath and 20point programme, was convened today on campus. The event saw the presence of Sri Lanka Dinakar, Chairman of 20-Point Programme (TPP) under the Government of Andhra Pradesh; Prof. D Narayana Rao, SRM Group Research Executive Director; Prof. Ch Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor SRM University-AP; Dr Vinayak Kalluri, Dean Academic Affairs and Additional Registrar; Prof. Ranjit Thapa, Dean-Research alongside other members of the Faculty and Directors.

The meeting highlighted the key governmental schemes and the initiatives in agriculture, education and innovation and how these programmes will unlock opportunities in skills development, employment generation, rural empowerment, and technological adaptation, empowering the youth and strengthening the state’s contributions to the nation’s growth agenda.

During the meeting Shri Lanka Dinakar mentioned how conferences like these will foster collaboration between academia and policymakers, provide a platform to share innovative ideas, and inspire youth to contribute actively to national development.

While Vice Chancellor Prof. Satish Kumar concurred with his view, stating that events like these will expose the students to the practical realities of the society, he also mentioned that we are past the state of experience, we focus on giving exposure to our students.
