Abstract
Cybercrime is ever increasing. There is a need for a legal system that can address various cybercrimes taking place. Without any legal framework in place, it is difficult to gain peoples trust on a particular system like the usage of the Internet or so-called cybersociety. In this chapter, various issues related to cybercrime are highlighted. Efforts have been made to present the legal landscape across the world concerning cybercrime in a concise manner. The emerging cybercrimes are highlighted, and the need of an appropriate legal system to handle emerging cybercrimes has also been emphasized.
