Abstract
The adoption and implementation of Blockchain in Management have been gaining increasing attention. The rise in the number of studies on Blockchain in managerial applications invites a greater number of research contributions in this field. This chapter describes the gap in the present studies using a hybrid review system through the means of systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis. Scopus database is used for the data from the last ten years, to serve the purpose of the study. The findings indicate the rise of Blockchain in the organisation’s managerial functions- particularly in such aspects of Business Management as Human Resource Management. However, this field’s evolution is put forward in its infancy in the process of curriculum vitae (CV) verification, and talent hiring. The chapter will help the experts and practitioners gain insights into technological advancements and Blockchain’s applicability in managing business management and decision-making. The themes from the current work will help in network analyses, and the development of the theoretical framework, and will highlight the issues causing challenges for adopting Blockchain in management. The chapter is focused on research articles collected from Scopus databases and hence it restricts other scholarly articles and findings on the area of the study. As the present study is more focused on the review type, it does not validate the findings. Hence future works can be supported through qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-research methods.
