Team Aether Connect from SRM University-AP has secured 2nd Place at the Innovators Conclave 2025 – 36-hour Hackathon held at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad. Competing against 4,000+ participants from 1,000 teams across top institutions, the team, consisting of Dhanush G, Bhavya Sri P and Vaishnavi K – B.Tech. CSE 3rd year students, excelled in the EduTech & Alumni Networks domain with a project on building a Central Alumni–Student Connection System. The team also won a ₹3,00,000 prize pool.
This marks their second consecutive win at BITS Pilani, showcasing the innovation, teamwork, and technical brilliance nurtured at SRM University-AP.
On the occasion Vaishnavi K T remarked, “Our idea to create a unified EduTech and Alumni platform stemmed from our belief that real education extends beyond classrooms, and connections can spark opportunities that change lives. Those 36 hours were filled with challenges, yes, but also with moments that tested and strengthened our belief in each other. SRM AP’s constant motivation to innovate, to think differently, and to act with purpose has been the backbone of our journey.”
P Bhavya Sri expressed her gratitude to SRM AP and her mentors stating, “Standing on that stage as second-place winners among 4000 participants were beyond words. It was not just luck it was the outcome of every idea, every debate, every small breakthrough we shared as a team. When our team was announced among the top winners, it was a moment of pride, not just for us but for every mentor and peer who believed in us.”
G Dhanush relayed his words on this achievement, saying, “With this victory, we’ve now become 2× BITS Pilani winners and have built a 5× national-level hackathon portfolio a reflection of our confidence, vision, and unshakable belief that great things happen when passion meets persistence.”
