SRM AP’s Strategic Partnership at the 12th World Conference on Women’s Studies

SRM University-AP is proud to announce that the Easwari School of Liberal Arts (ESLA) has entered into a strategic partnership with the 12th World Conference on Women’s Studies (WCWS 2026), to be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from May 28-30, 2026.

WCWS is a leading global platform bringing together scholars, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to engage in meaningful dialogue on women’s studies, gender equity, and social justice. The 2026 conference theme, “The Power of Dialogue: Abolishing the Conditions of Voicelessness,” closely aligns with our belief in inclusive education, critical thinking, and social impact. The Conference will be Chaired by Prof. Diana Fox, Bridgewater State University, USA.

Through this partnership, SRM University-AP aims to strengthen our global academic network, encourage faculty and student participation in international research forums, promote interdisciplinary scholarship, create opportunities for publication and knowledge exchange. Participants can avail a discount of 30% with the promo code P001.

The Easwari School of Liberal Arts is committed to nurturing responsible, globally aware leaders. Partnering with WCWS 2026 reflects our ongoing effort to engage with vibrant international academic communities and contribute meaningfully to discussions shaping gender-just futures. The University Coordinator for SRM AP Dr Srabani Basu, Associate Professor from Department of Literature and Languages and Country Coordinators Shirshendu Chakraborty and Sayani Banerjee will oversee the nation-wide participation for the conference.
