The conference, centred on the theme “Give to Gain,” brought together academicians, researchers, and professionals to discuss women-led development aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Distinguished women speakers from diverse fields, ranging from rural development to the Indian defence sector, shared their experiences, offering rich interdisciplinary insights.
The students presented their research paper titled “Reviving Indigenous Textile Knowledge: Consumer Perception and Digital Pathways for the Mangalagiri Handloom Cluster” under the category “Women Architecting Policy, Innovation, Enterprise, NGOs, and Inclusive Academic Spaces.” Their study explored the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and digital integration in strengthening connections between consumers and artisans, while emphasising the pivotal role of women as the backbone of the handloom sector.
In addition to the paper, the team also presented a research poster that effectively highlighted the key findings and insights of their study.
The students were mentored by Dr Nagalakshmi M.V.N., Assistant Professor, Department of Management, whose guidance played a crucial role in their success. This accomplishment reflects the institution’s continued commitment to fostering research, innovation, and student excellence on global academic platforms.
