SRM University-AP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES) and its constituent colleges, facilitating research, academic and scientific collaboration in the fields of Engineering and Sciences, Social Sciences and Management.
The MoU was signed between Sri Ravichandran Rajagopal, Vice Chairman of Sri Vishnu Education Society (SVES) and Prof. Ch Satish Kumar, Vice Chancellor and Prof. Ranjit Thapa, Dean-Research, from SRM University-AP, in the presence of Dr R Premkumar, Registrar, Dr Vinayak Kalluri, Dean-Academic Affairs, Assistant Dean-Research, Deans of all 3 schools from SRM University-AP and delegates from SVES Group.
The spectrum of this strategic partnership includes:
- Collaborative scientific research – Collaborate on scientific research in Engineering and allied technologies, social science and management
- Joint pursuit of research funding – Explore national and international research funding opportunities
- Academic dissemination – Disseminate advanced technologies through seminars, workshops, publications
- Access to facilities – Extend access to SRM AP facilities for joint research and academic pursuits
- Faculty exchange programmes – Enable faculty from SRM AP and SVES for curriculum design and development, teaching and mentoring etc.
- Joint mentorship of Ph.D. scholars with mutual approvals and many more
The partnership with SVES Group and its constituent colleges will advance SRM University-AP’s mission to transmit global education to the grassroots of the country and boost social development in the underserved communities of India.
