
SRM University-AP has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Productivity Council (APPC), marking a significant step toward strengthening public leadership and institutional capability.
The collaboration reflects a shared vision to advance AI-augmented decision-making, data-driven governance, and capacity building for government officials, corporate leaders, and community stakeholders. It also lays a strong foundation for joint research, case development, and thought leadership grounded in real-world administrative contexts.
Dr Srinivas Raghu, Director General, APPC, during the signing ceremony noted, “With over six decades of experience in productivity enhancement through Corporate, PSU and Government consulting and training and institutional development, APPC looks forward to partnering with SRM-AP to deliver large-scale capacity building and governance transformation initiatives.”
Vice Chancellor Prof. Ch Satish Kumar stated, “SRM-AP is a research-driven university committed to global exposure and innovation. Through the Directorate of Executive Education and Professional Studies (DEEPS) at SRM-AP, we aim to take knowledge to industry and governance systems, while building future-ready leadership aligned with rapidly evolving technologies.”
Mr Venkateswaran Ramamurthy, Director – DEEPS, highlighted that this collaboration brings together APPC’s deep expertise in productivity, consulting, and skill development with our academic and research strengths to create impactful executive education and capacity-building interventions.

The MoU was signed by Dr R Premkumar, Registrar of SRM University AP, and Dr Srinivas Raghu, Director General, Andhra Pradesh Productivity council.
The ceremony was attended by K Ravi, Program officer, Andhrapradesh, APPC, Mr Satyanarayana Duvvuri, Associate Director – DEEPS, Prof. C V Tomy, Dean – School of Engineering and Sciences, Mr Pankaj Belwariar, Director – Communications, Mr Isaac Samala Gerard, Director – HR, Major General Gurdeep Singh Narang, Director – Students Affairs, Mr Srinivasan Thirumalai, Director – Entrepreneurship and Innovation, along with other distinguished members of the university leadership.
The MoU outlines key areas of collaboration, including public leadership and governance capability, executive education and capacity building, applied research and decision labs, knowledge creation, and advisory engagement. It also establishes a framework for joint programs, policy research, leadership development as well as skill development initiatives at National level.
By combining APPC’s six decades of expertise with SRM-AP’s interdisciplinary strengths, the partnership is expected to drive impactful governance innovation and scalable societal outcomes.
