The event marked the culmination of weeks of spirited competition, bringing together students from multiple schools to compete across a diverse range of sporting disciplines and showcase their athletic excellence, teamwork, and resilience.

The championship featured a wide spectrum of games including cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, chess, athletics, yoga, powerlifting, table tennis, tug of war, and carrom. Teams and individuals demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the tournament, reflecting the growing sports culture and competitive spirit among students. In major team events, the SEAS teams delivered outstanding results—emerging as champions in cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, and tug of war—while PSB and ESLA teams secured several runner-up positions across competitions. Individual excellence was also witnessed in events such as chess, badminton, athletics, yoga, and powerlifting, where student athletes claimed top honours and podium finishes.

Among the notable highlights, the cricket championship saw SEAS crowned winners with PSB as runners-up, while football and basketball titles were also secured by SEAS teams after closely contested matches. In kabaddi and tug of war, teams displayed remarkable strength and coordination, drawing enthusiastic participation and support from the campus community. Individual achievements were celebrated in events such as badminton (men’s, women’s, and mixed), chess, 100-metre races, shot put, yoga, and powerlifting, reflecting the depth of talent across disciplines.

The valedictory ceremony was attended by faculty, staff, and students, creating an atmosphere of pride and celebration. Dr R Premkumar, Registrar, and Dr Vir Ji Koul, Director of Sports, felicitated the winners and runners-up with medals and certificates. They congratulated the participants for their dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship, and commended the Directorate of Sports for successfully organizing the championship.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries emphasised the importance of sports in shaping discipline, leadership, and teamwork among students. They highlighted how participation in competitive sports complements academic growth and contributes to holistic development, preparing students to excel both on and off the field.
