The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering and Sciences set the stage for the 8th International Conference on Data Analytics and Cyber Security (DACS 2025), a three-day academic initiative providing a global platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation in the rapidly evolving fields of Data Analytics and Cyber Security.
The conference was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. Somanath Tripathy from IIT Patna in the august presence of Vice Chancellor Prof. Ch Satish Kumar, Associate Dean-SEAS Prof. Jayaseelan Murugaiyan, Head of Department of CSE Dr Murali Krishna Enduri, Convenor and Co-convenors of DACS 2025.
In his address, Prof. Ch Satish Kumar referred to Data as Oxygen, emphasising transformative impact of Data Analytics and Cyber Security in the healthcare, communications sectors etc. Prof. Somanath Tripathy opined that convergence of these two fields is unlocking multiple avenues of cutting-edge research.
The conference received 250 paper submissions with 59 high-quality papers selected for presentation. With 4 keynote lectures and 7 technical sessions, DACS captured fundamental, research and emerging interdisciplinary challenges in today’s digital era.
