Any research on studying employee satisfaction always looks afresh and same is the case with the research work made by Abraham Maslow in assessing and analysing the needs of human beings. It is a popular theory in the field of motivation and pioneer for other research works to explore further in assessing the satisfaction levels of employees. In today’s millennium HR environment a large number tools and tests are available to assess and measure the satisfaction level of an employee yet employers are interested to go through the gross root level of finding the reasons, what makes an employee more satisfied. The current research study is made basically to cater to the needs of employers, analysts, academicians, researchers, practitioners, HR managers and critics, etc., to visualise the application of need hierarchy theory of motivation in assessing employee satisfaction using ethnography method.
