- SF Hacks 2019 hosted by San Francisco State University, USA - Got the Best Hardware Hack Prize.
- LA Hacks 2019 hosted by University of California, Los Angeles, USA - Got five prizes in total (Best IoT Hack, Best Envision LA Hack, Best Social Impact Hack from two companies, Best use of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)

All the faculty members of the Department are PhD from IISc/IITs/NITs/Abroad Universities .......
- ECE Department curriculum is unique, flexible and offers balanced structure with both theory and hands on modules such as Electronic Workshops right from semester I and courses are integrated with Course projects and students get trained in the state of art and emerging concepts in ECE from early days of the Department. Department curriculum offers students flexibility to choose multiple Open Electives based on their interest from various courses that are being offered across the University. Students can pursue one full semester project either in campus or off campus with leading Universities, Industries through Capstone project.
- ECE Department faculty members, PhD scholars and B.Tech students actively publish their works in reputed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking, IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking, IEEE Transactions of Geoscience and Remote Sensing, IEEE Transactions on Device and Materials Reliability, IEEE Access, IEEE Sensors, and IEEE Internet of Things.
- ECE Department Students have hands on experience working with faculty members in Research projects funded by Government and industries.
- ECE Department provides special academic assistance to the new joining students in improving the fundamental concepts of Engineering Maths, Programming Languages and Communication skills. The students are guided by both PhD scholars and faculties.
- ECE Department hosts multiple clubs to help students nurture their innovation, curiosity, and career assistance towards GATE/IES/IEEE/Coding/Higher studies etc, right from early days of induction into the Department.
- ECE Department hosts multiple state of the art Laboratories such as IoT Laboratory, VLSI and DSP Laboratory, Digital Systems Laboratory, Communication Systems Laboratory, Electronics Laboratory, RF and Microwave Laboratory, equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software platforms preparing students better as per Industry requirements and towards Research career.
