Mr Venkateswaran Ramamurthy is a distinguished leader in Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD), Leadership Development, and Executive Education, with over three decades of experience across premier institutions, including HCL Technologies, Krea University, the Indian School of Business (ISB), and Great Lakes Institute of Management.
A graduate in Management from BITS Pilani, Mr Ramamurthy has built a formidable reputation as a thought leader, learning solutions architect, and executive education strategist. His programmes are known for integrating institutional rigour, research-driven design, and sharp industry relevance, consistently delivering high returns on learning investment and earning national and international recognition.
Across his career, he has led world-class design, delivery and strategic direction of large-scale, high-impact learning interventions. At ISB, he played a pioneering role in establishing the custom executive education practice in the early years at Hyderabad, and in founding the flagship Management Programme in Public Policy (MPPP) for senior civil servants at the Mohali campus.
At Great Lakes Institute of Management, he spearheaded corporate engagement and career services, establishing end-to-end industry partnerships for talent recruitment, development and placement. At Krea University, he contributed to strengthening executive education design and direction and institutional impact. At HCL Technologies, he drove high-potential global leadership development through innovative capability-building interventions. Spearheading global learning content development at Altisource, he supported award-winning large-scale learning transformations.
In his earlier role as Regional Head – Content R&D at NIS Sparta, he embedded the unique Instructional design and discovery-learning methodologies across industries and sectors. He has trained and coached tens of thousands of working professionals — from frontline executives to CEOs — across many organisations.
