I’m really glad you stopped by. Whether you’re a prospective student, a curious visitor, or someone just finding your way around — welcome.
We have an enthusiastic bunch of faculty trained at some of the premier institutions in India and abroad, and they take both their roles — as educators and as producers of economic knowledge — very seriously. That combination of energy and rigour is, I think, what makes this department tick. We also have a vibrant student body drawn from across India and the globe, and they bring an energy and diversity of perspective that makes learning here genuinely exciting.
We are located on a state-of-the-art campus in Amaravati, the capital city of the newly formed state of Andhra Pradesh — a young, ambitious city that feels, in many ways, like the right place to be building something new.
