Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry is a DST-FIST-sponsored department which consists of a team of dynamic faculty with expertise in various research domains such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry. We have highly motivated young researchers who have earned their doctoral degrees and received training from top-notch research laboratories worldwide. Moreover, we are typically well-equipped with modern research facilities, including state-of-the-art instrumentation and equipment to perform advanced chemical analyses, synthesise new compounds, study chemical reactions, and investigate the properties of materials.
