Students' Achievements
- Ms Syed Nousheen, a Ph.D. scholar from the Department of Physics at SRM University-AP, Amaravati has been honoured with the Best Poster Presentation Award at the prestigious International Conference on Advances in Nanoscale Materials and Devices (ICANMD-2026).
- Mr Vetriveljanakiraman S PhD Scholar secured a Research Internship Programme for six months under the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) from the Department of Chemistry at the Department of Materials Engineering, Ming Chi University of Technology, Taiwan (MCUT).
- Ms K Durga Lalitha Bai, a PhD student in the Solid State Chemistry Lab, Department of Chemistry, has been awarded the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Science, Technology and Applications of Rare Earths (ICSTAR 2025), jointly organised by the Rare Earths Association of India, Mumbai, and Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
- Mr Akshay Sampath (BSc 3rd Year) has been selected for the HEST Scholarship, India’s largest Higher Education Scholarship Test powered by WeMakeScholars, an organisation funded & supported by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India
- Ms Arunima Jinachandran, Ph.D Scholar achieves a remarkable milestone by securing the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) fellowship from National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan. The fellowship testifies her dedication and commitment to academic excellence.
- Ms Vasavi (first PhD student) published 12 papers in high-quality journals, Thesis entitled: "Improvement of photoluminescence properties and achieving the stabilisation of caesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals for sensing and light-emitting applications “
- Mr Ramaraju Korivi, a PhD student of Dr S Mannathan, Department of chemistry, received the "Best Oral presentation award" at National Conference on Recent Advances in Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry (RAdIOC-2023) at NIT Warangal, which was held on February 24th-25th, 2023.
- Ms Arundhathi Sahu, PhD Student of Dr S Mannathan, Department of Chemistry, has been professionally selected for the award of UGC-JRF Fellowship under the “SAVITRIBAI JYOTIRAO PHULE FELLOWSHIP FOR SINGLE GIRL CHILD” Scheme.
- Ms Jayasree K (PhD student) received a Short-Term Research Internship (STRI) from Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan, for a period of 3-6 months with a monthly stipend or allowance of NTD 15,000 (approx. 500 USD$).
- Ms Arunima Jinachandran, PhD scholar from the Department of Chemistry bagged the 1st Prize for her poster presentation at the prestigious Indo-French seminar.
