SRM University AP, Amaravati, offers a new-age B.Tech. programme in Computer Science and Engineering with specialisation in AI/ML for passionate students through its newly established AI institute. The programme is fortified by its landmark collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science (CMU SCS), USA – one of the world’s foremost institutions in artificial intelligence (AI) and cutting-edge research.
This pioneering collaboration leads to innovation and education in AI-related disciplines, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, infrastructure and systems, and AI ethics and policy.

Eligibility to Apply for the Programme
- Admission will be based on meeting the eligibility conditions listed and the performance in the qualifying examination i.e., SRMJEEE
Eligibility to Apply for the Qualifying Examination
- A minimum aggregate score of 60% or equivalent grade point in Class X.
- Passed with Minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent grade in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics in 12th Standard/Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) /Intermediate (first and second year) or appearing in 12th Standard/Higher Secondary examination(10+2 pattern)/Intermediate in the current academic year with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects, Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS are eligible to apply. However, admission is confirmed based on meeting the minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent grade in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics in 12th Standard/Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern) /Intermediate (first and second year).

III. Equitable Representation Scholarship
Objective
SRM AP, Amaravati strives to advocate for an inclusive, diverse, and accepting community. In this regard, an equitable representation scholarship was instituted in 2023 to award exceptional and talented students who seek admission in the first year of B.Tech. through SRMJEEE (UG) from traditionally underrepresented states & Union Territories at SRM AP.
Applicability
Applicable for the duration of the programme, and the scholarship is renewed without any condition.
