Desirable Qualifications:
- Track record of acquiring funding at national and international levels
- Minimum 5 Scopus index (out of which 3 are with First/Corresponding Author) original publications in Q1 Journals per year in the last two consecutive years or one Technology Transfer in last two years or 2 Granted Patent and 3 Scopus index (out of which 2 are with First/Corresponding Author) original publications in Q1 Journals per year in the last three consecutive years.
- Top 2 % scientists as per list published by researchers from Stanford University (Minimum 2 Years record)
Benefit to the Faculty Members under CIDR:
- 1. Each faculty member is entitled to a professional development fund (PDA) of ₹4 lakhs per year.
- 2. There is no restriction on the number of Ph.D. student’s faculty members can supervise.
- 3. Research is prioritised as the primary workload for faculty, with no teaching responsibilities assigned.
- 4. Performance-linked pay is doubled for equivalent performance ratings.
- 5. Research Funding: Upto Rs. 40 Lakh to work on inter-disciplinary research.
- 6. Two postdoctoral fellows per faculty member will be supported under the University Postdoctoral Fellow scheme.
Qualifications of Faculty Members for the Centre:
- 1. Education Qualifications: Ph.D., Faculty with multi-disciplinary qualifications and Interdisciplinary research experience
- 2. Minimum two years of postdoctoral research experience in interdisciplinary areas or equivalent
